This was today’s lunch.
Chicken breast, French cut green beans and corn, with asiago peppercorn dressing (1 serving)
It was yummy!
lunch…. chicken breast topped with sliced tomatoes
I have a reoccurring obsession with tomatoes.
Brunch mmmmm
Soft taco with 85/15 beef (mixed with light red kidney beans, chopped onions and tomatoes), extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, and medium salsa.
Made enough to take care of tomorrow’s lunch as well! Batch cooking is the best.
I really really need to go grocery shopping
Best protein-rich meal I could put together. 3 eggs over easy with cheddar cheese (just the little that was left over) and a slice of American cheese, and toast.
Had a Jimmy John’s unwich today at work (Hunter’s Club, the only one with a decent amount of protein!), and I am strangely full. More full than I am when I order a sandwich with bread and chips (instead I had a pickle for the side).
Not complaining for sure! Eating less calories and being more full is A-OK with me for now :)
(chicken breast with asiago peppercorn dressing. 452 cals.)
Dinner tonight. Went a little overboard with the dressing, but it’s so yummy !
Breakfast / Post-workout / Lunch
(this is the problem when you workout in the morning fasted, the first meal of the day has too many names!)
Scrambled eggs with bacon, turkey, and swiss cheese and half a banana.
Meals for today:
Chicken Taco Salad (top) - grilled chicken breast, shredded cheese, salsa, chopped tomatoes, and lettuce (hiding underneath!)
Bunless Slider Burgers (bottom) - ground beef, swiss cheese, peppercorn ranch dressing
Today’s breakfast/lunch (aka first meal of the day):
- Omelet with tomatoes, ham, and cheddar cheese
- Toast with chive/onion cream cheese
Low key breakfast:
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- toast w/ chive&onion cream cheese
Tonight’s dinner brought by the 6-letter word B-O-R-I-N-G haha.
- Grilled chicken wrap w/ alfredo/peppercorn dressing (1/2 serving)
- French-style green beans, stir-fried, soy sauce added for flavor
The only “naughty” thing I can point out here would be the dressing which is super fatty (thus calorie-dense). Could pretty much never use it on a salad since I’d be too tempted to pile it on! But it’s a nice addition to an otherwise dry wrap :)
